

Into the Wild
This is our first year University game project, and was our first time being part of a multi-disciplinary team. This was a third - person, multiplayer, split screen kart racer in which you could race against AI or other players! On this game I was responsible for the user interface (UI) and all of its functionality, including the timer and character/kart selection screen. I also placed the checkpoints around the levels of each map so that the AI could follow the path properly. Furthermore, I was responsible for the implementation of the menu videos and the Mini-map that is featured in the tutorial scene. Finally, I helped to implement the "power up" objects, such as the throw-able goose bomb that can be used to sabotage other players/AI.

Firelock
This was our second year project in which we were already much more experienced developers. This game was a third person, hot seat multiplayer, turn-based, team strategy game in which the winner is the team who wipes out the other players team first by controlling your own individual units, Similarly to Chess. On this game I was responsible for the turn-based system itself and the Unit Selection system that goes with it. I was also in charge of the UI, which meant displaying health, amount of ammo left etc. Other things I implemented included : Animations, Menus and the Options that are available on the options menu.

Doe or Die
This was our third and final project and it was also our dissertation piece. This is a spy chic - first person shooter game with a heavy focus on movement and abilities such as teleport and grapple hooks. This game also had an aspect of environmental problem solving to it. My role on this game included things such as UI again, the Menus and all of the options in the Options menu (Including the ability to rebind input keys and reset them to default on button press). In terms of general gameplay, I was also responsible for the implementation of the pickups (Health, ammo), the save system that activates when you pass through a checkpoint, and hundreds of other, smaller, aspects of the game.
